These are my golf clubs.

I have a "set" of clubs a friend of mine gave me a few years ago, no idea why. I didnt know anything about golf as you’ll soon find out. The clubs (woods, irons?) are spading executive and I have #s 2 4 5 6 7 8 and 9. Also there is a driver that on the back says "ADAMS GOLF GT STEEL 303 TIGHT LIES 9.5 degrees" and a club that says "Arnold Palmer Sterling Silver series Oversize 17.4 stainless 21 degrees" and is numbered 5. No idea what these all are. They’re all different companies, no doubt thrown together in some thrift store before I got them. All are in good condition except 2 have some scuffs. Comes with the huge golf bag and about 50 used balls and some tees. Plus a sock….thingy for the driver ans a cover that fits over all the clubs.

I want to sell em to preferably someone at work or that I know. Whats a good honest price for these beat up things? Its all profit for me, but how much could be asked for some ratty mish-mashed clubs?

These are my golf clubs, Driver: Cleveland Hibore XL 9.5 degree, Stiff Flex, 3 Wood: Adams Insight BUL, Stiff Flex, Irons: Adams RPM iron set, Wedges: Titleist Vokey Design 54 degree, Golden Bear 60 degree, Putter: Taylormade Rossa Monte Carlo 7

Anyone ever have this set or know of a good set for a bad golfer looking to upgrade and get better? I’m looking to pay 0-0 tops.

I’ve just become interested in golfing and have played about 5 times with rented clubs. I’ve also gone to the driving range multiple times with 2 clubs that I own, and taken a lesson. I’m interested in buying a set of clubs and was wondering if anyone had suggestions?

There is a set of Adams Tight Lies on sale on Ebay right now. ( The highest bid so far is 66 dollars plus 30 dollars shipping – http://cgi.ebay.com/ADAMS-TIGHT-LIES-MENS-15-PC-RIGHT-HANDED-GOLF-CLUB-SET_W0QQitemZ270155482668QQihZ017QQcategoryZ115280QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Would this be a good set to bid on? There’s no driver but I’ve heard that beginners shouldn’t use a driver anyway. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Worldwide Golf Shops carries the full Adams Golf line of clubs including the NEW Speedline Drivers

I have searched the internet and every methot to do this requires that you take the old grip off of your club and measure. Since i will be purchasing a set of grips and installation kit online from amazon, I don’t want a period of 2weeks without grips on my clubs. I dont want a professional to replace them for me for obvious price reasons. Lastly and most unfortunately the golf club maker of my set doesn’t reveal this information on their website and the only contact with them is by mail [slow]. Thanks for any advice.

I use Tommy Armour Morph Irons(rifle 5.0 shaft R flex),
Adams Golf 460D (Nv regular flex),
Adams Golf ovation 4 wood (stiff flex)

these are the clubs that i wanted to re-grip.
Thanks for any advice.
P.S. lets say for instance that my golf clubs have a .620 core size and i buy the .600 then im out 80 bucks. this is why i want to know.

Rick Adams is core strength, biometrics in action and incredible hand eye coordination with the most fascinating, lightning quick, hand and eye cordination…. The ‘skill set recipe’ that Rick Adams has developed over many years. Born with Spina Bifida Rick Adams has overcome considerable difficulties to find amazing dexterity and expertise in sport. His experience is worldwide with previously supporting companies like Jaguar Cars and Travis Perkins who used Rick to front their corporate golf programs. JUST GOOD OLD FUN…..

I have been playing golf for a while (about 3 years), and I am looking to upgrade my clubs. I have a make-shift set of clubs now composed of various brands of golf clubs that are "aged" and outdated. I have narrowed it down to two different sets I would like to get and just can’t seem to make up my mind. Therefore I would like some input on which set would be better for me. I usually shoot around a 90 – 95 on the two courses I play.

The sets are Adams Tight Lies 18 piece set (10.5* 460cc driver, 3 & 5 wood, #4 Hybrid, #5 – PW irons, Mallet style putter and Stand Bag)

http://www.tgw.com/customer/category/product.jsp?SUBCATEGORY_ID=10691

or

Orlimar XV-4 set (10.5* 460cc Driver, 3 & 5 Wood, 3 Hybrid, 4 & 5 Hybrid Iron, #6 – PW & SW, putter, and cart bag)

http://www.tgw.com/customer/category/product.jsp?SUBCATEGORY_ID=8627

I like the bag that comes with the Orlimar set better, and I usually ride 18 holes, but are the Adams clubs that much better?
Well I am getting ready to order (probably Monday 7th ) and I am leaning towards the Orlimar set. I would really like some input from anybody that has either one of these sets. I am not able to try them out before I purchase them as I can’t find a Retail store in my area that carries either one. TGW.com does have an exchange program, but I have read that their shipping and returns take FOREVER. I would obviously like to get it right the first time.
