Hey, I’m a junior and have been playing golf for about three years, and been on my high school team for two. I bought a Knight package set from wal-mart a couple years ago, knowing that i’d probably be killing my clubs at first, and have gradually upgraded my driver, wedges, and putter to nicer, more name-brand stuff. So now that I’m not duffin every other shot and killin my clubs, I’m looking at replacing both my irons and my woods. Btw, my handicap is still at around 20 sumthing. So I’m asking for any advice or suggestions on what to get. I guess i would be looking for more forgiveness in the club and my price cap is around 0 for the irons, and 0 for the woods. Some clubs that have really caught my eyes are the Adams tight lies irons and woods. But any and all suggestions are welcome and greatly appreciated! THANKS ALOT!!

Adams Golf. Idea a7OS Hybrid Irons. Golf Digest Hot List Golf Winner. Easy to hit golf clubs.
I am looking to replace some of my golf clubs. I would like to replace my driver, irons, and hybrid. All other clubs are newer. I don’t really care about price. I would like to get clubs that came out just this year. However, I will try everything. I also have no preference in brand.
What do you think of these irons:
Cleveland CG Golf
Nike CCI Forged
Callaway X-20 Tour
Drivers:
Taylormade Burner
R7 Superquad
Sumo
Titleist D1
Hybrids:
Taylormade Rescue Dual
Taylormade Burner Hybrid
Ping Rapture
Adams Idea Pro
Adams A3 Boxer
I have hit most of them, but I will hit one type of club per trip to the golf store due to time, like one day hybrids the other driver, etc. I am only looking for one hybrid now, but may get another in the future. I also am thinking of switching to Taylormade golf balls which would be better Red or Black. My handicap is 11. What are the main differences between them.
Thanks.
I am not buying them all in the same trip. I am buying one item at a time, like one day irons, the other driver, the other hybrid. Kind of like that.

I used a borrowed set of Pings for a couple years, but now want to purchase my own clubs. I was seriously looking at a set of Adams Idea a2 OS clubs… but the price just for a hybrid/iron set is 9. That’d leave me to purchase a 3 and 5 wood at about 0 each, a driver at about -200. Plus a bag at another -100, and a putter at about . That’s -900… more than I was thinking of spending.
I wanted to use a hybrid set since I (like other beginners) have trouble with the long irons. I checked on some used clubs, but for hybrids I found that the used irons aren’t much cheaper (read: ) than the new set. For drivers and fairway woods, I can get some good deals. Putters are a wash.
The irons I am considering: http://www.adamsgolf.com/Ideaa2a2OSHybrids.htm
If you can suggest hybrid irons, or a complete set of irons, woods, and driver… that would be nice. (I’ll probably pick up a couple wedges and putter separately, and I can manage picking out the bag).
I am a casual golfer who is looking to upgrade my yard sale quality golf clubs. I am on a budget (I would not like to spend more than 400-500 dollars). I was looking at these three complete sets and I was wondering if this is the way to go or not? Any help on which one to purchase, which set to avoid, or any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I am thinking of buying the Adams Golf Ovation 3 complete club set(D,3W,5W,3h,4h,5-LW,P) and i have read some of the reviews by people about its durability and don’t know what to think. I know the driver will help my slice a little bit and i’m also short on money.the set is only 0 so that is in my price range which is {content}-0. i need to know if it is a good set or is there another set in my price range that would be worth buying. thanks for any help.
just an update on what I am using now. I made a few changes.
I’ve leaning towards one of these sets of clubs, does anyone have any opinions on any of these, or any other sets I should look at?

Welcome. these are my clubs!!!!!
I’ve finally started making some money and I’m ready to upgrade the golfing arsenal, I don’t plan on paying over ,000 though. I know they come out with different models every year and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how I could stretch my money the best. Right now I’m using an Adams complete set (great for a starter but after 3 years I’m ready for something more). I’m partial to the Adams brand because these have been some good clubs, but they are full of battle scars from practicing in less than ideal places.
