Adams Golf hybrids are played by more tour pros than any other hybrids on the market. Idea hybrids have ranked #1 on the PGA Tour since 2008, on the Champions Tour since 2005 and on the Nationwide Tour since 2006.
I’m 14. I’ve been taking lessons from a professional all summer at a local course and I’ve been going to the driving range at least once per week. I plan on practicing but not playing with my high school team this fall and also would like to maybe play some tournaments in the spring. Right now I haven’t actually played 9 or 18 holes but plan on very soon.
I recently went to dicks sporting goods and checked out their selection, and when I go back I plan on buying a full set or a set of irons then individually buying a driver, fairway woods, and wedges. Putter is the only club I have I actually like so I don’t need a new one.
My budget isn’t going over 0. And preferably 0 and under. Because of my somewhat small budget, I’ve been interested in a full set. Particularly this:

But I haven’t demoed it yet but will before I buy it. So is there anything else you might recommend me trying? I have been looking at the Wilson Ci7 irons and will demo them too. But what other quality stuff can I get for under 0 that isn’t in a full set. I mean really, minimum a decent driver will run 0-0 alone.
So what should I try? Other stores? Ebay? BOGO deals? I dont want crappy clubs!
THIS TOOK SO LONG TO UPLOAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These are my clubs, some of them are new, yea i like em alot. so yea leave comments and suscribe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nike set is steel and only comes with 6 irons and Adams clubs are graphite and come with 2 hybrids and 6 irons. Which one is the better buy. I found websites that have the Nike set at 199.99 and the Adams at 219.99.
The next season is far from now but i have already decided on my setup for next season.
I am looking to buy a set of clubs. I don’t want a beginner set because I don’t plan on being a "beginner" for long. What are some good affordable sets? I’ve heard Adams, and Ben Hogan. I have also been looking at rockbottomgolf.com. Also, what does "stiff" mean when referring to clubs? What are the advantages, disadvantages to using "stiff" clubs?
First, sorry for no sound, for whatever reason it doesn’t like to transfer sound on my videos to youtube, so I just gave up after 3 other videos of me talking and nobody hearing. I bought a new Adams A3OS driver and as I was putting a ball on a tee i bent over with the club face on the ground like a cane and the club head broke off. I do it all of the time with my Nike driver and never had any problems. In fact put my whole body weight on the Nike driver trying to break it and couldn’t. I think the Adams had a defective shaft. I wonder if they will replace it of just fix it. I cant find out by looking at their web page
I’m adam .I just ordered a set of X-22′s with regular flex, graphate shaft ,3-9PS clubs at a website named wowogolf.com .Their service is pretty good ,and they surely guarantee their clubs are legitimate and refund if not satissfied . I’m a new golfer (i.e. a very beginner) in golf.
I was looking into buying a set of golf clubs and thought Adams Tight Lies or Plus was a good choice.
Then I talked to someone who’s played golf for sometime and mentioned that I thought about buying a complete set. He suggested that I should think about getting better sets even if they may be used. From what he’s seen, those people who bought these complete sets usually replace their set in about a year or so because these complete sets generally aren’t very good sets. I can kind of see his point, but then I am thinking… people probably replace their set because it was their first set and once they start playing they will realize what type of clubs suits better for them so change some of the clubs that suits them better. If that’s the case, even if buy a good used set, I will probably replace some of the clubs. If both of what I wrote is true, then I am thinking I might as well go with the new complete sets which are actually bit cheaper than buying used sets separately with bags and etc. since I’m going to be replacing some of it anyway.. But then since I am new to golf and don’t know much about the clubs and etc., I am thiking maybe I should listen to someone who’s played for a while…
Anothing thing that makes me want to buy a new set is that I wouldn’t know what’s good and bad and what to avoid in used sets..
What do you think? Should I go with the new complete set (probably Adams Tight Lies)? or some mixture of used/preowned sets which would probably cost me at least couple of hundred dollars more???
Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Just for a clarification…
Decision that I am trying to make is whether I should get a complete set of clubs which generally are just OK or so-so kind of clubs, OR I should get fancy set of clubs (big brands like King Cobra, Titleist) except get used sets so that I wouldn’t have to spend a fortune on them.

I know Adams golf clubs are a well known name and they would come with everything I need. I usually shoot around 100 on a old set of Wilsons and am really looking to improve my clubs on a budget. Any thoughts? Thanks
