I’ve always used the "hacker clubs". I shoot mid 90′s to low 100′s. Typical righty fade/slice on most shots, though I do hit some really good shots mixed in. I’ve been going to golf shops, etc looking around and asking questions. Seems the consensus is that I need game improvement irons? Also, that I should definitely get fitted for clubs. I’ve been recommended: Taylor Made RAC OS2′s, Taylor Made r7 Draw, Adams a3 OS, Cobra S9, Callaway Big Bertha 06 and 08, Nike Slingshot OSS. There are so many choices and things to consider. I really want to work toward shooting in the 80′s and I really want to make my new club purchase worthwhile and get the right clubs for me. Anyone (especially serious golfers) who can tell me anything, either advice in general as to what I should be looking for, or any club recommendations (either the ones I’ve listed or otherwise) would be greatly appreciated. I’ve been playing with a Taylor Made set from just before 2000 just before the oversized, 460 cc drivers came into play, which I got the set for free. I saved some money and decided to treat myself. This is what I bought for under 400. I would like to state that I am going to stay with the taylor made irons. Love em. Used to be under 20 handicapped, around 18, now about 25 because I took two years off but I’ve been playing almost every day this season and getting personal tec lessons.
Have good paying full time job at perfect hours so I can play every day and get to single digit handicapped by the year 2045.

Ive been golfing for a while now but have yet to find my total favorite brand of golf clubs. Any suggestions? I heard Callaway, Adam’s Golf clubs, Tour Edge and Wilsons was some of the best. After 20yrs of tennis, I have tried golf and had a blast. Living in Florida, I can play with family and friends and don’t always need to find a partner who plays at the same level.

I am looking for a forgiving set of clubs designed for the beginner yet not too flexible. I can hit a driver 240 yds even though the direction that the ball travels is often an unknown to me.

I was looking at the following golf sets which are all about the same price! I figured the experts who read this stuff will be able give me some advice!!
